CHE Disclosure Statement

The Center for Human Enrichment Student Support Services is funded through a TRIO grant from the U.S. Department of Education and receives matching support from the University of Northern Colorado. PR/Award Number P042A060794. For 2006-2007 $445,688 (100 %) total funds; $268,918 (60 %) Federal funding and $176,770 (40 %) institutional matching funds.

CHE English Tutoring Services

The Center for Human Enrichment offers English Tutoring both in and out of the classroom.

Our in-class peer tutors sit in on the English faculty's classes and assist students on homework assignments and during-class writing assignments.

These same tutors have hours outside of CHE's scheduled English classes to meet with students for help in a variety of university offered English courses. These classes are as follows:

  • ENG 122 - College Composition
  • ENG 123 - College Research Paper
  • ENG 131 - Introduction to Literature
  • ENG 211 - Survey of American Literature
  • ENG 213 - Survey of British Literature I
  • ENG 214 - Survey of British Literature II
  • ENG 238 - Topics in Women's Literature
  • ENG 265 - World Masterpieces
  • ENG 311 - Shakespeare
