CHE Linked Courses
During the freshman year, all CHE courses are linked to at least one other course on campus, and students travel as a "cohort" to those other courses. The Advising staff guides CHE students in the selection of a course block in which their English class is linked to another course on campus, and material in the English class is relevant to material being discussed in the link course.
In the fall semester, for example, an English 122 course might be linked to a History course in which the English and History professors collaborate on course material. Students benefit from an experience in which research is made pertinent to their academic work, and assignments have a determined and relevant purpose.
See the Course Descriptions for more information on the classes CHE offers. |
