CHE STUDENTS EARN DEAN'S CITATION FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE Posted on September 18, 2009 by Julie Trujillo

The Dean of the Monfort College of Business at UNC has issued the Dean's Citation for Academic Excellence for the Spring 2009 semester. CHE students, Beatriz Portillo and Sara Johnson, were two of selected recipients of this prestigious award. To earn the Dean's Citation for Academic Excellence, students must be business majors in the UNC Monfort College of Business. Additionally, they must have completed at least 12 credit hours during the 2009 Spring Semester and earned at least a 3.50 GPA for that semester. Each student received a personalized certificate and a personal letter from the Dean. CONGRATULATIONS TO BEATRIZ AND SARA!! | |

On Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ballrooms at the University Center, UNC will recognize its First-Year Scholars. First-Year Scholars are students who are in their freshman year at UNC and achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the 2008 Fall semester. CHE will have five students recognized as First-Year Scholars. They are:
