The Center for Human Enrichment Student Support Services is funded through a TRIO grant from the U.S. Department of Education and receives matching support from the University of Northern Colorado. PR/Award Number P042A060794. For 2006-2007 $445,688 (100 %) total funds; $268,918 (60 %) Federal funding and $176,770 (40 %) institutional matching funds.

Jana\Jana Schwartz

Biography: Jana is a Graduate Student in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership. She is originally from the Midwest and is entering her third year as a student at UNC. In her free time, you will find her enjoying eating out at local restaurants, spending time in the mountains, or playing with her son, Cooper, who is one.
Delores\Delores Belo

Position: Administrative Assistant

Biography: Delores Belo received her B.A. from UNC in 1983 and has worked for 19 years here as well: 2 at the Hispanic Cultural Center and 15 in the College of Arts and Science and 2 years at CHE. As a first generation and a non-traditional student Dee is aware of what it is like to have somewhere to go for help. Dee loves working with students and will go out of the way to help whenever she can. A tomboy at heart, she played softball for 25 years, enjoys camping, fishing and will usually try anything once. Dee has also spent ten years with Wranglers, a group of over 350 volunteers who put in many hours during the two weeks of Stampede events prior to the 4th of July. You can also find Dee outside reading a book. Dee just became a great aunt for the first time. Kylee Grace was born July 14, 2007.

Che the Mascot\Che the Mascot

Position: Office Assistant
Entered CHE: March 2006
Biography: Che the Mascot was "adopted" by our department when one of our students wandered in with the puppy in arms attempting to give the cute little rascal away. Che now lives with our Administrative Assistant, Delores Belo.
