CHE Disclosure Statement

The Center for Human Enrichment Student Support Services is funded through a TRIO grant from the U.S. Department of Education and receives matching support from the University of Northern Colorado. PR/Award Number P042A060794. For 2006-2007 $445,688 (100 %) total funds; $268,918 (60 %) Federal funding and $176,770 (40 %) institutional matching funds.

CHE Computer Lab
The CHE Computer Lab provides all members of the UNC community with access to 27 Power Macintosh G5 computers running Mac OS X 10.3. The lab is open approximately 73 hours per week, and is staffed by a student Lab Consultant at all times.

Computers in the lab are equipped with Zip drives, floppy drives, and 17" LCD monitors. Two computers are also equipped with scanners capable of scanning prints, slides, and negatives.

The following software is available in the lab:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe InDesign (on scanning stations only)
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver
  • Safari Web Browser
  • Firefox Web Browser
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Apple Final Cut Pro Studio (film editing stations only)

The lab can also be scheduled for classes, and a projector which can be hooked up to a computer is available. To schedule a class or presentation in the lab, contact Will Helling via email, or at 1-2996.
